Donate on Twint (Switzerland) on +41 78 903 83 79 Youth Edutainment donates refurbished computers and helps to create internet facilities in projects and schools in the former apartheid created and so called black and coloured comunities of Cape Town. Those poverty striken locations are kept back in the training of computer learning and Internet Access. We aim to
give young people and professionals the chance to use computers and enhance their skills so that they can keep up with the requirements for getting an employment and break out of poverty. While hundredthousand of people in the townships are deprived of computer and internet access, masses of great quality computers are beeing thrown away (recycled) in Switzerland. The Youth Edutainment organisation functions as a connection between these refurbished goods and the need for computers in the comunities in need of South Africa. Several companies in Switzerland donated us their equipement in full functioning conditions and with the help of several private people and a funding NGO in Lucerne, Switzerland, we have been able to ship this freight to Cape Town. Areas like Gugulethu, Philippi, Hangberg and Kwazulu Natal should profite of this initiative. Education is the key to break out of poverty and is a human right.
