Celebrating Skills, Empowering Futures! 🧱

Today, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our first cohort of learners in our Bricklaying Skills Programme, generously sponsored by the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA). This milestone represents an important step towards equipping young people with practical skills that can open doors to employment, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods in rural communities. ✨🤍

The graduation was honoured by the presence of Kinderfonds MAMAS, whose valuable role in shaping our organisation’s programmes continues to contribute to meaningful community development. We were also privileged to be blessed by the Tjommie Board, whose foundational support helped lay the groundwork for the Vocational Training Centre to grow into what it is today.

Through partnerships and skills development initiatives like these, Ndlovu Care Group remains committed to empowering young people with the knowledge, practical skills and opportunities to build brighter, sustainable futures.

Girls on the Field ⚽✨

The Ndlovu Sports Programme recently hosted an exciting girls’ soccer tournament in Elandsdoorn, bringing together teams from Phooko, Taiwan and Bloempoort. The tournament gave young girls a platform to showcase their talent, build confidence, strengthen teamwork and connect with other girls from the community.

More than winning matches, it was about creating a space where girls could be seen, heard, feel supported and believe in their abilities. ❤️⚽

Our PowerGirls Donation Drive continues... ✨

As our PowerGirls Programme is preparing for a special Year-End Gala Party for girls aged 9–16, we are calling on our community, businesses and generous individuals to help us make it a memorable occasion.

We are collecting new and gently used items that can help our PowerGirls feel celebrated and empowered, which include:

👗 Formal & party dresses
🎀 Tutu skirts
👠 Heels & other suitable footwear
💄 Make-up & beauty products

We will also give out Dignity hampers, including:
• Lip gloss
• Body lotion & body spray
• Roll-ons
• Pocket tissues & wet wipes
• Sanitary towels
• Nail polish
• And any other personal-care and hygiene products

Your donation can help our young girls. 💕✨

Donations can be dropped off at any of our Ndlovu Care Group Projects

Kabelo Ditshego: Sewing a Future of possibilities 🧵✨

In the community of Marapong in Moutse, Kabelo Ditshego is turning a valuable skill into an opportunity for income generation and a brighter future.

Kabelo discovered his passion for sewing and developed the skills and confidence to turn his talent into an opportunity. With a stipend from the Department of Employment and Labour (DoEL), he invested in himself by purchasing a sewing machine for home use; allowing him to keep practising and work towards generating an income.

But he does not let resources limit his creativity. Maize meal bags and shopper bags are being transformed into unique clothing items, proving that with imagination and determination, even the ordinary can become something useful and beautiful. His sewing machine is more than equipment; it is an investment in his talent, his dreams and his future. ❤️

Be part of the Story: Instead of throwing away your empty maize meal bags and reusable shopper bags, consider giving them a new purpose. Donate them to any of our Ndlovu projects and help us provide materials that can be transformed into something meaningful. Thank you ✨
