🌍💚 COMMUNITY OUTREACH | TONTELDOOS HIGH SCHOOL 💚🌍

What an amazing and fulfilling day travelling from Groblersdal to Tonteldoos! The Broadway Legacy Foundation team, together with CMR and the school management, had the privilege of engaging with the wonderful learners of Tonteldoos Primary and High School.

Our time together focused on Social and Behavioural Change, psychosocial support, developing changemakers, and addressing bullying in our schools and communities.
We were truly impressed by the learners — their discipline, respect, positive behaviour and willingness to engage made the visit memorable. 🌟 These are the moments that remind us why investing in our children and young people matters.

We believe every learner deserves to feel safe, valued, supported and empowered to reach their full potential. By working together with schools, stakeholders and communities, we can nurture a generation of confident changemakers who stand against bullying and promote kindness, inclusion and respect.

What an amazing and fulfilling day travelling from Groblersdal to Tonteldoos! The Broadway Legacy Foundation team, together with CMR and the school management, had the privilege of engaging with the wonderful learners of Tonteldoos Primary and High School.

🌍 COMMUNITY DIALOGUE | TLP SESSION IN KGAPAMADI 🤝

A heartfelt thank you to all our stakeholders and community leaders who joined us for yesterday’s TLP (Traditional Leaders Programme) session in Kgapamadi. What an empowering, enlightening and thought-provoking dialogue!

The discussions reminded us that meaningful community engagement requires patience, mutual respect and a willingness to listen, learn and challenge perspectives constructively.

We explored the relationship between African cultural practices, traditions, human rights and the Constitution. These conversations are not always easy, particularly when deeply rooted beliefs and differing interpretations of laws come into play. However, creating a safe space for respectful dialogue is essential to building understanding and finding common ground.

One important outcome was the community’s request for more frequent engagements. This demonstrates the value of continued dialogue and the need to strengthen collaboration with traditional leaders and community structures.

At Broadway Legacy Foundation, we believe that preserving our cultural heritage and promoting human rights can go hand in hand. Through education, constructive engagement and mutual understanding, we can work together towards communities where culture, dignity, equality and justice are respected.

Thank you to everyone who participated openly and contributed to this important conversation. The journey continues, one dialogue, one community and one person at a time.
