A plea to help, broken, injured ....

Good morning residents, yesterday we got a call the roaming injured dog(Thor) spotted again, his been roaming Goodwood for 3 days, injured, hungry, scared his broken body shared on all the group's for his owner to come fetch him..... no one came... a family decided no more they helped him... once they had him secured they phoned me, Debbie help... thankful I met them at Panorama vet, they offered to foster him but couldn't afford the treatment, he sooo needed and we made the call, if we can help save a life we will (knowingly its a sunday evening monday being a public holiday he needed antibiotics URGENTLY), he was seen by an amazing vet which did an assessment explaining that they can admit him clean the wound place him on a drip R4500 we simply can not afford that but we can try and stabilize him, Dr explained how the wound needed to be cleaned, medication needed to be administered ( antibiotics and pain medication) we agreed to do so, he also offered to treat him from his private practice on Wednesday offering to sedate him for a sterrie and deep clean of the wound for R1000 giving us NPO rates which obviously jumped and accepted his offer, to try and safe Thor.

His bill last night was R2057.60 and adding Wednesday R1000 has depleted our funds completely, if anyone would like to please help us help him we and Thor would forever be greatfull!!!

Just an update on Thor he went in today for Sterrie, chip and cleaning of wounds the following was feedback from the vet:

Thor has 3 massive bite wounds with smaller puncture wounds all around his neck wich indicates he was attacked but no divisive wounds so the possibility of him being muzzled while dogs attacked him is common to this type of injury.

We did notice markings around his nose while sitting at the vet which obviously now has been confirmed.... he has loads of old healed scars all over his body, so where he came from and what has been done to him we will never know, but his brave!!! Knowing all of this his still trusting a humans his warming up to both Karen and Marilie, tail waggs and looooooves foodies, today was the last einas beautiful Thor .... healing can begin!!!!

Big shout out to the community we have raised enough funds for Thor, the amazing Vet Dr Butt, and last but almost the most important his earth angels taking him in showing him looooove and making a promise to protect him forever🐾

Update:::
One amazing lady (Adele from Giving is Living) has taken the task to help Willow, estimated age 4, she's most probably had more puppys then food in her life, but that's done now healing can start, Willow is under vet treatment, currently fighting an infection, eye infection, ear infection and is very very emiciated, its going to take a village!!!

Please people help Willow, ill post there banking details, please use Willow as a ref.....
