Fort Brown Primary, After-School Programme 🎨🏡

Today’s after-school session was a little different and gave learners an opportunity to express themselves through art. The learners were encouraged to draw anything they wanted and then explain the meaning behind their drawings.

One learner drew a beautiful picture of a house and shared what it represented to them. Activities like these help learners develop creativity, self-expression, and confidence while providing a safe space to share their thoughts and dreams.

Ubunye Challenge Cup Poem Competition ✍️🌱

The 20 schools from Ngqushwa that are part of the Ubunye Challenge Cup all had a Conservation session at the beginning of the year. As part of the programme, learners were given the task of writing poems based on the theme of conservation.

Recently, EMfundweni Secondary School and Zanolwazi Primary School had their poem competitions. Teachers from both schools were highly impressed by the learners’ creativity and writing skills. Parents from Zanolwazi Primary School were also present and were amazed by the incredible talent displayed by the learners.

Congratulations to all the winners from both schools and well done to every participant for their outstanding effort and creativity.
