Childwelfare Grahamstown is one of the 250 affiliates of Child Welfare South Africa. It operates as a non-Profit Organisation in the Grahamstown area and is focused on the welfare of ‘children in need of care and protection’ as stipulated in the Children’s Act 38/2005. It was established in 1917, is one of the first Child Welfare Societies in the country and has been servicing the changing needs

of a growing community ever since. You can support Child Welfare Grahamstown by volunteering, and donating cash and items for the children. Cash donations are immensely appreciated and may be made to:

Our social worker, Ziyanda Mooi, created this gorgeous video of our Wine Tasting Evening and we think it captures the spirit of the evening perfectly. 🍷✨

With over 120 guests in attendance, the evening was such a wonderful success and we are incredibly grateful for the amazing support from the Makhanda community.

A huge thank you to Graeme College Community Outreach for running such a fantastic event. It was so popular that we may just have to do another one! 😉

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported the event and helped make it such a memorable evening.

And a special thank you to Ziyanda for capturing the evening so beautifully!
