A six-member team from the Rhodes University Law Clinic descended on the Aspire soil to "unpack" the Children's Act 38 of 2005 to parents, educators, social workers, our partners, stakeholders in child care and a journalist.
The workshop was a huge success, everyone who attended had a packed lunch & juice afterwards.
Thanks to Mr Shaun Bergover, Director of the RULAC and Team for the collaboration and partnership!

Our second day of on-boarding was about collaboration, communication, cooperation, support, and trust. We managed to unravel the human knot, identified who we are using the shoe exercise, and identified the qualities needed at Aspire with character cards!
We had a daily check-in of our feelings and rated how we felt from 1 - 10. We started low but by the end we had either improved or remained high.
We concluded that each one of us has what it takes to be at Aspire Psychosocial & Educational Support Services for Vulnerable Children
