As we come to the end of Women’s Month, we’re reminded that supporting women means showing up for them — not only in awareness, but in action.
On Thursday, 13 August, 210 women were screened, and 21 women were identified as needing further care. These women now have appointments for free mammograms at Winelands Radiography from 24–27 August.
We need your help to get them there.
Siphila Sonke is looking for volunteers who can assist with transport to and from their appointments in Vergelen Medical Clinic. Even one trip can make a meaningful difference in helping a woman access the care she needs.
