Founder and Head coach, Daniel "Golden Boy" Goliath, and his fellow athlete, Johan Ceasar , are representing the club and province at the South African Masters Athletics Championship from 30 April - 2 May.

Coach has been a constant achiever at this event and he will be hoping to encourage and motivate his fellow to do the same, after last year's heartbreak at the hands of a sustained injury.

Both men will be looking to qualify for the SAMA team and compete at AFMA Championships a month later.

We wish them the best of luck as they endeavour to make a mark on the national and international stage.

Congratulations Deidre!

Keep it up...

PERSONAL BEST EFFORT BY ALGUINÉ

Alguiné Adams was the only representative of Camdeboo Athletic Club at the Eastern Cape Schools Athletics Primary Schools Championships on 6-7 March 2026 in Komani (Queenstown).

Alguiné was part of the Sarah Baartman District Municipality Primary School Athletics team.

She gave a good account of herself and can be very proud of her achievements, such as a new Personal Best time in the 80m as well as a Gold medal finish in the 4x100m Relay.

Her official results were as follows:

80m semi - 3rd (11.48)
80 final - 6th (11.03) (+0.7 wind) ***NEW PB

Alguine absolutely locked in for her 80m races and had the capacity to give better and better performances as the day progressed, being well supported our sprint coach and her father Algin du Plessis. She achieved an overall 6th place in the Eastern Cape at 80m girls u10, thus securing her provincial Top 10 status.
Her day was capped off by delivering a PERSONAL BEST performance in the final.

DAY 2

100m semi - 3rd (14.44)
10m final - 4th (14.76) (-1.6 wind)

4x100m Relay - 1st place

Alguine gave her all against some tough competition while fighting against a head wind in the final. She achieved an overall 4th place in the Eastern Cape at 100m gilrs u10, once again cementing her provincial Top 10 status.
Her day was capped off by running the 2nd leg (back straight) of the 4x100m girls u10. Her relay team went on to secure a 1st place finish and Gold medal.

From smashing her personal best to achieving provincial top 10 and attaining relay gold, Alguine had a very successful time at the Championships and we cannot put into words how proud we are of her.

KEEP IT UP ALGUINE!
