The South African Youth Council welcomes the appointment of the new NYDA board led by Dr Sunshine Mnyende as the Chairperson and Mr Bonga Makhanya as the Deputy Chairperson .

We commend the President Cyril Ramaphosa for this appointment, as it serves as a turning point for youth development in our country. The composition of the board reflects the diversity of young people from different walks of life, which we believe will bring fresh perspectives to the NYDAs work.

We extend our best wishes to the collective and trust that the interests of young people of South Africa will remain at the centre of their agenda .
