Yellow Diamonds Foundation

Yellow Diamonds Foundation We are about empowering young girls. Evolving girls to women that'll selflessly make a difference in society, inspiring a new generation of powerful women.

Yellow Diamonds Foundation is a foundation is an (NPO) for average young South African girls/women who would like to share their stories, time, and motivation to motivate young girls in to becoming the best they can be in society and their communities as a woman one day…

Vision: Empowering and Grooming Young Girls in between ages of 16-25 to become a prominent woman and game changer in society t

hrough touching lives through her life as she develops and unlocking potential in girls who've been paralyzed by their background or situation. Mission: We’re aiming at High school and Tertiary Learners in areas of their lives where we'll look after and nurture the young lady till her full development and have a focal point on each individuals’ basic need, which gives more time to each mentor on the team to be able to intensely reach out. We’ll be intensifying on the following issues:
• Teenage Pregnancy (S*x and body education & awareness)
• Education (Bursaries, scholarships, textbooks, stationery etc.)
• Child Headed Households (Food parcels and clothing)
• Spirituality (Religion)
• Social Lifestyles (Mentorship)
• Health & Hygiene
How we plan to do this:
Teenage Pregnancy is a huge issue in our country for many various reasons;
- Poverty
- R**e
- S*xual Activity (Promiscuity)
We want to break that stigma and trend by equipping our young ladies with information and knowledge from people who've been through such situations so the reality is more practical to them, because according to the GDE (Gauteng Department of Education) when you practicalise something it becomes more real to an individual than the Theory. Education is a Key note address in South Africa because of many issues as well;
- Poverty
- No access to basics
- Distance of schools from homes
- Child run house holds
- Environment
- Drugs/Alcohol

SLEF
We Have been in association with an amazing foundation called SLEF (Sbusiso Leope Education Foundation) founded by Sbusiso Leope aka DJ Sbu for almost 10 years now and we as a team have been able to unlock so many less privileged kids into their future's through reminding them the importance of an education in all that they do. This programme has been running for 12 years and has so many leaders and businessmen and women birthed from it. We give bursaries to the top achievers and also raise money to take children who don't have funds to tertiary institutions. POLOKEGO Foundation
Is a Teen girl foundation founded by a mom raising a teen. They work on the relationship and relations compass of teens during the 7 years of their lives thus influencing the moral compass of a Teen girl child. Using getaway camps, workshops and provincial tours they educate on self-awareness, safety, health mentally, physically and spiritually and emotional intelligence. Child Headed Households is a serious issue in South Africa. Research shows that the country is experiencing the highest burden of HIV in the world, with over 5.7 million people infected. Parents are dying and leaving behind their children as orphans. There are an estimated 3.7 million orphans in South Africa, about half of whom have lost one or both parents to AIDS; and 150,000 children are believed to be living in child-headed households. Communities are doing the best they can to care for orphaned and vulnerable children and we can also lend a hand, and by working hand in hand with different NGO’s/NPO’s and whoever is touched to reach out to collect and give clothes and food parcels to those in such as situation as well as the homeless. Spirituality plays a major role in one's life mainly because most of our successful mentors always mention God as part of their everyday life, if we teach 1 child to pray and the importance that's in the word of God we've saved a village we have churches and ministries that are doing that part of things but we seek more hands in this aspect as it is broad. Social Lifestyle is a buzz in the South African Youth :
Social Media;
- Twitter
- Instagram
- Facebook
- WhatsApp
- Qooh Me
- Snapchat
- Kik
- Tumbler
- We Heart It

Social lifestyle status;
- Clubbing
- Fashion trends
- Social status (Popularity)
We plan to create awareness on how all these things can be used constructively for their futures, these mediums and activities are relevant to the youth right now. As a foundation it is our aim to break the cycle of low school marks, money spending and chasing social lifestyles by uprooting the crux of all these issues in these children’s lives. We'll get into their social circles and relate to them directly and intensify this movement that has sworn in our youth socially and also bring out the social life in those that have been deprived of it through our programmes, where we get internships or take our girls to work with our mentors to gain experience and stay away from things that could shift the focus. Women’s Health and Hygiene:
- Menstruation
- Weight loss or gain
- Blood types
- Knowing Your Status
- Lady Etiquette
- Fashion

We will whirl in all the necessary people like public figures, personalities from different media platforms such as TV, Radio, Print and so on to influence more and more young ladies on how to be a lady, how to dress, how to walk, how to talk, to know their body inside out and self - esteem issues as well and also the issues that affect a woman in society regarding health and all else on a daily basis. Goal: To unleash the potential of Young South African girls that's been locked in their past and current situations showing them that ANYBODY can be SOMEBODY in society no matter what the situation or circumstance we all CAN and will be SOMEBODY in society which they can carry through their lives and instill in another generation of Young girls to women hence we are an EVOLUTION OF WOMEN...
