God did not promise that we would have an easy life on earth. Jesus came to earth, suffered rejection and shame, and died an undeserving death for our sakes. Yet He rose again to show that death does not have dominion over Him. Both we and our persecuted brothers and sisters will suffer on this earth, yet Christ has promised us that this is not all we have. He has promised us a home in heaven where he will wipe away all our tears, where we can be with him for eternity. Praise the Lord for this and pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters.

This is the world that our persecuted brothers and sisters live in. A man's life was taken when he drank from a water cooler, supposedly "contaminating" it because he was a Christian. This has left his wife as a widow and his children fatherless. Pray for his family!
