👀 Heads up, not down
Walking while texting or scrolling means you might miss cars, people, or potential dangers around you.
🚶‍♂️ Stay visible & aware
Stick to well-lit areas and be extra careful near the school gates where traffic is busy.
🎧 Keep earphones low or off
You need to hear what’s happening around you — cars, ho***rs, or someone calling out.
⚠️ Don’t flash your phone
Holding your phone out in the open can make you an easy target. Keep it away unless you really need it.
🤝 Walk with friends if you can
There’s safety in numbers, especially in the early hours.

Your involvement — from our Cpf , Neighborhood Watch, Security teams, Traffic officers, SAPS, Ambulance and Towing services, local businesses, and community members — played a vital role in making this event safe, successful, and truly special.
Your time, dedication, and cooperation ensured not only the smooth running of the ride but also helped spread a wonderful spirit of unity, generosity, and festive cheer throughout our community.

The George CPF extends our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Gert Hills. While we had all hoped and prayed for his safe return, we now stand together in grief at his passing.

We wish to thank every single person, organisation, and community member who played a role in the search — your unity, compassion, and dedication have shown the true spirit of our community.

May Gert’s soul rest in peace, and may we carry forward the same care and togetherness we witnessed during this time.
