🎨🍷 OUR PAINT & WINE FUNDRAISER WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! 🐾❤️

What a beautiful and memorable day! Our SPCA fundraising Paint & Wine event was a wonderful success, and we are incredibly grateful to every member of the public who joined us.

Thank you for spending the day with us, sharing your creativity, and creating such beautiful canvases. It was truly amazing to see everyone enjoying themselves while supporting a cause so close to our hearts. 🎨🖌️

🐾 NOT SOMETHING EVERYONE SEES — BUT THE SPCA FACES IT EVERY DAY.

110 km to get to "you" ... Because you need our help.

There are moments in SPCA work that stay with you forever and 💔 These are the moments people don't see.

They don't see the drive to the scene.
They don't see the decisions that have to be made.
They don't see the heartbreak.
They don't see what our inspectors and staff carry home with them afterwards.

When we received the call about four donkeys and a vehicle involved in an accident, we knew we would be responding to injured animals. But nothing truly prepares you for the reality you face when you arrive at a scene like this.

It became clear that the animals had been dragged for more than 20 metres before coming to a stop.

All four male donkeys were suffering from severe injuries, pain and immense stress. There was no time to wait. No time to delay. They had already suffered enough.

For these four animals, the kindest thing we could do was to end their suffering as quickly and humanely as possible.

But we show up...

We are incredibly grateful to Polokwane SPCA for assisting Mokopane SPCA.

And yes — we drove as quickly and safely as possible, because when an animal is suffering, every minute matters.

Believe us when we say:

WE WILL SHOW UP.
WE WILL ANSWER THE CALL.
WE WILL DO EVERYTHING WE CAN FOR THEM.

Even when it is difficult.
Even when it breaks our hearts.
Even when nobody sees what happens behind the scenes.

Because they cannot speak for themselves.

💙 A Heartfelt Plea from the Mokopane SPCA 🐾 Please help us keep hope on the road.
Today, we are asking for your help.🙏

Every day, our inspectors travel across our area of operation responding to animals that have no one else. We attend cases of cruelty, injured animals, abandoned pets, livestock emergencies, welfare inspections, and animals in desperate need of care.

Our monthly fuel bill is between R12 000 and R15 000. Without fuel, we simply cannot reach the animals that need us most.

If you are able to sponsor a full tank of fuel, or even R500, it will make a real difference. Every contribution helps keep our rescue vehicle on the road monthly please.

We are also looking to establish partnerships with petrol stations where donations can be paid directly into a fuel account and used exclusively to fill the registered Mokopane SPCA vehicle.
