OPRET ADVICE OFFICE provides holistic support services focusing on human
rights education, access to justice, psychosocial care, legal assistance and climate justice. The aim of Opret advice office is to combat the high rate of Human Rights violation through Access to Justice on Human rights Education and Human rights Services by providing Para-legal services through Lobbying and Advocacy, Educat
ion, Support, Mediation, Research ,Restorative Justice. Our organization amplifies individual and group efforts and leads regional initiatives that Support the needs of survivors, demand accountability and change from people who commit acts of gender-based violence and femicide, Increase the efficiency and responsiveness of institutions and programs, provide education and technical support to allied organizations, Mobilize the community to challenge social and cultural standards that perpetuate inequity, rigid gender roles and the abuse of power. Opret Advice Office is working in partnership with 14 VEP’S in Waterberg District and 18 Para-Legal advice offices in Limpopo Province for Capacity Building, Networking and Coordination and other Chapter nine Institutions in Limpopo Province for referrals, Capacity building and Networking. Government Department with Department of Justice, Department of Social Development, Department of Health, SAPS, Department of Agriculture, Department of Labour and other stakeholders that are working with our organization hand to hand for appropriate relief. To achieve our vision, we see it as our mission to undertake research and take action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of Gender based Violence and femicide on human rights. We carry out a wide range of educational activities, promoting the values contained in the Universal Declaration of Human rights and other international agreed human rights standards.
