ANCYL School Visit

The ANCYL Frans Maakamedi Branch will today be visiting Ditsepu Secondary School to engage on concerns raised about a teacher’s failure to uphold expected professional standards.

As the youth, we remain committed to protecting the right to quality education and ensuring accountability in our schools. Our approach is one of constructive engagement to promote better communication, professionalism, and a conducive learning environment for all.

STATEMENT ON SOLIDARITY VISIT AND TRIBUTE TO THE MAJA MOSHATE FAMILY

We sincerely extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Capricorn District Municipality Executive Mayor, Cde Mmamedupi Teffo; ANCYL NEC Member, Cde Emmanuel Mongwe; ANCYL Peter Mokaba Regional Secretary, Cde Percy Nchabeng; Deputy Chairperson, Cde Itireleng Rachuene; and REC & RWC Member, Cde Tshegofatso Tleane, who, together with our ANCYL Frans Maakamedi BEC Member Cde Qiniso Baloyi and his executive committee, paid a meaningful visit to the Moshate family.

The delegation came to convey words of comfort, solidarity, and support during this difficult time, and further demonstrated their compassion and unity by pledging a cow to the Moshate family as a gesture of respect, dignity, and African humanity (ubuntu).

This act of kindness reflects true leadership and commitment to standing with the community in moments of grief and hardship. We are deeply grateful for the support shown and for walking this journey with the Moshate family.

May this spirit of unity and compassion continue to guide us as we uphold the values of care, solidarity, and service to our people.

ANCYL BRANCH STATEMENT ON ILLEGITIMATE AND BOGUS “VERIFICATION BGM”

As the leadership of the ANC Youth League Frans Maakamedi Branch, we reject and distance ourselves from a group of self-appointed individuals who are calling a so-called verification Branch General Meeting from their private houses, without the community and outside ANC constitutional processes.

The “leadership” and secretary listed on their posters are unknown, unelected, and illegitimate. This is nothing but a desperate attempt to mislead the community of Seolo Makwela Branch, impress visiting bishops, and hijack the ward councillorship away from the people.

We warn the community and genuine ANC members to NOT attend this fake BGM. It has no mandate, no legitimacy, and no authority. Anyone participating is aiding the collapse of internal democracy.

These actions are a disgrace to the ancestors of the ANC, driven by careerists who please masters for jobs instead of serving the people. The ANC is not a house meeting nor a job centre.

The ANCYL will defend the movement, protect community power, and expose all bogus processes.

Down with self-elected leadership!

Our soldiers on the ground ANCYL Frans Maakamedi Branch Ward 2 , embarked on a journey together with Ward Councillor Mr Ntlemo and other community volunteers to eradicate the wastage on our streets, the community have since awaited the Municipality to collect the waste since late November 2024, as we are awaiting, ANCYL, Ward Councillor and the community took this initiative to ease the westage from the streets

Good day as you know we are fighting the pandemic Unemployment, we have partners we are working with who are having programs or opportunities for our youth therefore we have decided to create online database to be ready when they request numbers of people for recruitment will use it to to shortlist, kindly fill and pass to your family members and friends who are hungry for opportunities and tell them to get their documents ready and up to date, you never know what tomorrow
