𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃: 𝟐

𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The Ward 2 Committee, together with their Councilor hosted a Women's Month Prayer Day, on Wednesday 25/08/2022.

All the members of the community and the churches were invited in order to pray against the gender based violence, drug and substance abuse, robberies, peace and stability, particular in our communities. Crime has shown an increased rate since the inception of Gangsterism, drug and substance abuse, which the community is affected in a very negative manner

Amongst the stakeholders invited, the business also also played a pivotal role in ensuring that members of the community, particularly the elders, don't go home empty handed.

Six Star Milling has donated more than 100 bags of Maize Meal, as a token of ploughing back to the community.

TFS Supermarket donated an undisclosed amount of orange bags to the community.

Cllr Action Tsotetsi appreciates every member of the Mafube Community who sacrificed their time to come and gather together in prayer against crime. Furthermore, he applauded the business for extending their helping hand for the benefit of our community. Cllr Action Tsotetsi has vowed to work hand in clove with all the members of the society to eradicate all the criminal elements and criminal activities, happening in ward 2.
