Leane Kekana Life Institute

Leane Kekana Life Institute Restore, advance and preserve our cultural tradition and heritage whilst developing ICT skills. Orpha

The organisation was formulated in honour of the late Mr Grant Kekana, who was one of the pioneers of the jazz music in the country during the apartheid years in South Africa. The centre was established to fulfil a life-long dream of the late Mr and Mrs Kekana, which was to develop and empower the people and the society at large through the African Cultural System. The centre’s primary mission was

to offer care and food to the orphaned and the vulnerable children. Chief Kekana has improved and introduced other activities such as the cultural aspects and the general improvement of the society at large. The centre offers various programmes that are aligned with the restoration and entrenchment of the African Cultural Value system in our communities. The programmes include teachings that will inspire the community members to establish their own business enterprise. The centre is based in Evaton, Sedibeng Region, Gauteng, South Africa.
