Uvemvane Lwe-Afrika NPO is registered as a PBO (Public Benefit Organization) by the South African Revenue Service, enabling tax deductible donations in South Africa. They run free programs for school students and the community including Early Childhood Education programs in the Molweni area of KwaZulu Natal. They train ECE Teachers, provide free Youth Development, Education, Computer Training and computer and internet access for students and the community. The Tholulwazi High School Matric Class of 2023 achieved a pass rate of 80.2%, an impressive improvement from 64.2% in the year 2022.
These results are a clear testament of the commitment of the educators, hard work of learners and support from parents and the hard work of the Uvemvane Lwe-Afrika Team.
The School Principal, Mr CC Zama expressed his gratitude for the Mathematics and Science camp and continuous academic support provided by Uvemvane Lwe-Afrika
"These were major contributors to the improved results achieved this year. The camp assisted us in improving the Maths and Science results while the awards ceremony sponsored by ULA was a great motivator even to those learners who had lost their confidence," he said.
