9570 konto nr. 0011599478. På forhånd tak ❤️

We are thankful for all the donations as we have been able to assist a new nursery school that has started in Mabuza. Mrs Lungile Gininda has started Inkanyezi Day Care Centre to help mothers as there is no creche in the area. She has no government funding. The food go's a long way support the youngsters with the schooling. Thank you.

We were in a position to purchase 15 Android tablets a couple of years ago. We have been using free programs to help the children learn English and maths. The programs have helped, but we were aware of an absolutely brilliant program, but it was out of our reach financially. We have now been able to purchase the program, which will successfully teach the children to speak English properly and become efficient in maths.

The biggest hurdle for children in the South African education system is to become proficient in English. All the exams from Grade 4 are in English. The number of children who pass grade 12 is only 55%. The government juggles the figures and pretends that it is 82%. However, they do not allow children to write the exams if it is clear that they will not pass. To pass Grade 12 a child needs 40% in 3 subjects and 30% in another 3 subjects, which is absolutely ridiculous.

There is no way to express our gratitude. This program has made a huge difference in the lives of the children. Thanks to the heartfelt financial contributions of our faithful supporters

Many thanks to the very generous financial contributions of our wonderful supporters. We collect water from a pond outside the squatter camp for our vegetable garden. It took several hours to fill our 1,000lt container manually. The financial gifts that we received have allowed us to purchase a water pump that fills our container in minutes. It is a great blessing!

We had heavy rain last night. Everything got wet again. The plastic cover on Della's house gave out he was underwater again. He has managed to put R5000 aside to fix his house but it is not enough to get the roof replaced. Billy has said he can fix the timber. We would appreciate any help that we could replace the zinc and get him back under a roof.

The CWP helped tidy the house today and put stuff into the sun to dry. They created a temporary cover over the house using a cover we got from a local disaster agency to protect the furniture. We have had an offer of help from Billy Lloyd to replace some of the broken timber.
