The BRICS Student Commission participated on the Voter Registration Campaign Launch by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Hon. Dr Nomusa Dube-Ncube, where she addressed students on the importance of youth participation, civic responsibility and democracy at the Centre for People Development Campus in Madadeni, Newcastle.

The BRICS Student Commission attended the Focus Air Annual Awards Ceremony a prestigious event that recognizes and celebrates the achievements of students, instructors, and aviation professionals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and perseverance throughout the year.

This event brought together stakeholders from the aviation industry, educational institutions, community leaders, and distinguished guests to celebrate the next generation of aviation professionals.

The Deputy Minister Dr Nomusa Dube-Ncibe was also in attendance at the awards ceremony as the Keynote Speaker,she emphasised the department commitment to education, skills development, economic empowerment, and community upliftment of the people of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, and beyond.
