STAND. 2026 | 2ND ANNUAL GBVF MARCH

Every voice matters. Every life matters. Every stand matters.

On 25 November 2026, we come together once again to stand against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide.

We stand with survivors.
We stand with families carrying loss.
We stand with communities demanding safer tomorrows.

Because ending GBVF is not the responsibility of survivors alone. It requires people, communities and institutions willing to turn solidarity into meaningful action.

A safer tomorrow is a stronger tomorrow.

A stand begins with one person choosing not to look away.

It is the courage to speak.

The courage to act.

The courage to stand beside those who need us.

Because ending gender-based violence cannot be the responsibility of survivors alone. It requires people, communities and institutions willing to take responsibility for the safety of one another.

Some will speak.

Some will protect.

Some will advocate.

Some will lead.

But all of us can STAND.

A safer tomorrow is a stronger tomorrow.

All Voices Matter would like to extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and the community of Ward 36 on the passing of Councillor Bafana Timothy Lukhele.

We have received the sad news of his passing with great shock. Councillor Lukhele was not just a leader, but a pillar of support to our organization and its programs. His unwavering support, guidance and willingness to open doors for community development will never be forgotten.

His commitment to serving the people of Ward 36 was evident, and his contribution to the fight against Gender-Based Violence and community upliftment left a lasting mark.

In this difficult time, we share in your grief. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

They lead through protection, respect, accountability and example.

Today, we recognise the men who understand that their strength carries responsibility and who choose to use that strength to help build safer homes and safer communities.

We see you. We value you. Keep standing.

Invited by the Speaker of Emalahleni Local Municipality, we have joined this evening of prayer, remembrance and solidarity against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide.

We remember those we have lost, stand with survivors, and continue to raise our voices for safer communities.
