Today we celebrate more than a court judgment.

We celebrate courage.

We celebrate survival.

We celebrate a woman who refused to let violence define the rest of her story.

From the very beginning, All Voices Matter stood alongside Dudu and her family not only believing her voice, but walking the journey with her until justice was served.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Sis Olga from the Department of Social Development, the Presiding Officer, the Prosecution Team, and the Investigating Officer from Vosman SAPS.

Your professionalism, commitment and dedication played a vital role in achieving this outcome.

This victory belongs to Dudu, her family, every professional who fulfilled their duty with integrity, and every person who stood for justice.

May this outcome remind every survivor that your voice matters, your life matters, and your pursuit of justice matters.

This is not the end of the journey.
It is another step towards a South Africa where survivors are heard, protected and supported.

ALL VOICES MATTER (AVM) | COURT UPDATE

COURT UPDATE | EMALAHLENI REGIONAL COURT

Today, the matter involving the soccer coach returned to court.

The accused abandoned his bail application and the matter has now been postponed to 27 August 2026 for further court proceedings.

The State has also added two additional charges, bringing the total charges before the court to five, comprising:

3 counts of R**e

2 counts of Sexual Assault

As All Voices Matter (AVM), we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting survivors of gender-based violence and advocating for justice through lawful and fair judicial processes.

COURT UPDATE | COMMUNITY STANDS FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN

Today, members of All Voices Matter, community leaders, partner organisations and concerned residents gathered outside the court in a united call for the protection of children and for justice to follow its proper course.

We extend our sincere appreciation to every individual, organisation and community member who took the time to stand with us in peaceful solidarity. Your presence demonstrated that the safety, dignity and wellbeing of our children remain a shared responsibility.

The matter was heard today and has been postponed to 09 July 2026 for the bail application.

As the legal process continues, we respectfully encourage the public to allow the courts to perform their constitutional role while remaining committed to supporting survivors, families and communities affected by violence against children.

We invite all organisations, faith-based institutions, community structures, activists and members of the public to join us once again on 09 July 2026 as we continue to stand together for child protection, accountability and safer communities.

STATEMENT | COURT PROCEEDINGS UPDATE

All Voices Matter continues to monitor a matter involving allegations against a soccer coach concerning a minor.

The matter has been postponed to 02 July 2026 for a bail application.

While the legal process unfolds, we remain committed to supporting the affected family and advocating for the protection, dignity and rights of vulnerable members of our communities.

Justice requires patience, courage and accountability. We encourage the public to respect the judicial process while standing firmly against all forms of abuse and violence.
