Mpumalanga Youth Choir Join us on an incredible musical journey as we bring together talented young voices from across Mpumalanga.

Our choir is dedicated to nurturing and showcasing the vibrant musical heritage and creativity of our region. The Choir strives to maintain a level of musical superiority in both choice and performance of repertoire. The youthโ€™s abilities are developed and love for the cultural aspects of life are kindled, offering pupils the opportunity to share their passion for music. What the choir does that m

any people donโ€™t notice is keeping the youth out of the streets. The choir adds splendour to community events and contributes to the upliftment of historically disadvantages communities. Sound parent participation through means of a supportive system is invaluable to the existence and functionally of the choir. The choir represents Mpumalanga, both nationally and internationally, in such a way as to display the South African multicultural heritage in a responsible and balanced
manner. Furthermore, to bring back and learn the beauty of choir music to the broader multiracial public, young and old. We envisage to rekindle the desire in the youth to sing choral and entertainment music by singing it in such a manner as to create the yearning in the hearts of the youth to be part of the chorus and the desire in the older generation to once again listen to the younger generation make this mellifluous music. To see ourselves on international stages and making our province Mpumalanga and our country proud.

Today we taking it back to one of our unforgettable performances of โ€œ I speak Jesusโ€ conducted by the late Oom Andrรฉ Oosthuizen.

These moments definitely reminds us why we sing. Looking back at this incredible performance fills us with gratitude for every chorister, supporter and unforgettable memory made along the way.
We are reminded that the name of our Lord is power, healing and life.

As the Mpumalanga Youth Choir, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the learners, staff, families, and the entire community of Hoรซrskool Patriot during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn this loss. May you find strength, comfort, and peace in the love and support of those around you, and may the cherished memories of your loved one bring comfort in the days ahead.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our President, Promise Sithole.

Promise was a young lady who carried light wherever she went. Her beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and caring heart had a way of uplifting everyone around her. She loved deeply, embraced others wholeheartedly, and made every person feel seen and valued.

Although small in stature, Promise possessed the heart of a lion. She led with courage, kindness, passion, and unwavering dedication. Her vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on our school, and her absence will be felt throughout the halls of Hoรซrskool Patriot for years to come.

Today, we mourn not only the loss of our President but also the loss of a cherished daughter, friend, leader, classmate, and Pattie family member. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, fellow learners, and everyone whose life was touched by her remarkable presence.

Promise, thank you for the joy, laughter, and light you brought into our lives. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
