On 22 February 2026, the Northrand District Scouts proudly celebrated BP Sunday, honouring the birthday of Scouting founder Robert Baden-Powell.

It was a fantastic day of unity and celebration — and a proud moment for our local group as the 1st Edenvale Cubs were awarded a gold star as well as District Best Cub Pack of 2025! 🏆 What an incredible achievement, reflecting dedication, teamwork, and true Scout spirit.

Well done to all the Cubs, leaders, and supporters who make achievements like this possible. The future of Scouting in Northrand is bright! ⚜️

Our Cubs had an unforgettable adventure at the Pieter Toerien Theatre where they went to watch The Jungle Book! 🐾🌿
From the moment the curtain opened, our Cubs were transported into Mowgli’s jungle world — full of friendship, courage, and teamwork. They loved meeting characters like Baloo and Bagheera and learning important lessons about belonging and doing your best.
It was a fantastic outing filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of jungle spirit! Experiences like this help our Cubs grow in confidence, imagination, and friendship — all while having loads of fun together.
