The “hoo call” of an African wild dog, recorded after some dogs became separated from the pack during a hunt.

This unique bird-like call is low and drawn-out helping it to travel long distances so lost pack members can reunite after the chaos of a hunt or disruptive event. A key survival tool as African wild dogs rely on their strong social bonds to thrive.
