Captioning is the process of converting the audio content of a television broadcast, film, live events and more into text. This text (captions) is then displayed on a screen or monitor.

Captions are therefore the text version of the spoken dialogue but also identifies elements like the speaker and sound effects like music, squeaking doors, etc., and are an important tool with which people who have a hearing impairment can access information.

Sub-texting is the group name for captions and sub-titles.

๐ŸŒŸ Youth Month Reflection ๐ŸŒŸ

Youth Month is a reminder of the power young persons carry, the courage to keep going, the drive to change things, and the potential to shape what comes next.

But real progress only happens when inclusion is part of the story. When every young person, including youth with disabilities, has the chance to be seen, heard, and supported, we all move forward together.

Letโ€™s continue building spaces where opportunity is shared, barriers are broken, and no voice is left out.

๐Ÿ’™ The future is stronger when everyone belongs.

Let's all Beat As One. Rhythm Matters. ๐Ÿฅ
