PEARL program

Our session focuses on:
P - Personal Development

Our discussion focused on personal hygiene. It's important to highlight the importance of personal hygiene as this affects the way in which person show up.

Breaking cycles that keep children stuck in destructive behavior.
It is important that school uniform is clean and neat.
Hair must also be kept neat and presentable.

Lesotho Winter Outreach part 3

It was that we witnessed a true miracle. Just like Jesus multiplied the fish and the bread, He multiplied our seed (beanies and scarves).

We thought we would not have enough beanies and scarves. People continued to arrive over the hills. We regrouped and discussed to split the sets so everyone receives at least one item. However, we decided to handout and trust God.

To our pleasant surprise. We were left with 3 sets. This was truly a miracle. We counted 3 times and was definitely short on sets, but BUT GOD.

We are thankful to our Lesotho partners Pastor Johan and his incre team for hosting us. May God ocntin to bless the work of his hands and bless them with fruit bearing seeds.

In total 350 sets handed out in Lesotho And Wepener. We are so thankful to our partners and sponsors who helped us purchase material and help us make this trip possible.

Wepener outreach June 2026

100 beanies and scarve sets to adults and children + some chippies as a snack.

We extend our gratitude to Pastor Johan, Minister Tshepiso and the church board for thr privilege to be part of their Service.

We were delighted to witness the children and men minister in song and dance and was extremely blessed by the word delivered by Pastor Refilwe.

We are also thankful to that Coach Natz was granted time to encourage the church. Her message 'Keep digging those wells' encouraged us to keep knocking and seeking even when it seems in vain. At the appropriate time, God will manifest His blessings in our lives, if we do not give up.

Lesotho Rural Village outreach

Handed out beanies and scarves and visited the Gogo we stole our hearts in 2025 when we did an outreach in the village.

Gogo saw her son in December 2025 after not hearing from him for 1 year. She enjoyed her time with him.
Sadly the recent heavy rains affected her and many other villagers. As a result she lost her bedroom.

Her little mud house is neat and her essentials are in direct reach. The ceiling is very low and the roof doesn't seem very stable. We hope that her 1 room Mud house survives the cold front that hit Lesotho yesterday.

Besides the challenges. Gogo is happy and healthy. She still eats from her nutritional garden and some villagers now help her to get 5L bucket of fresh water daily from the water well which is 5km away.

Rivers are dry in Lesotho and people dig the ground until they find running water. The village has no electricity so they are pretty shut out from the world, many were already preparing their evening meals on the fore outside.

A partnership outreach raising awareness on Statutory R**e and substance abuse.

I Matter NPO and Gauteng Department of Social Development and other stakeholders came together again to raise awareness on matters that affect our communities and especially vulnerable children.

We encouraged these beautiful young people to focus on their future and stay clear of sexual activities which may lead to unplanned pregnancy and Sexually transmitted diseases and stay away from all forms of substance abuse.

Thank you to our little pagaent Princess Zay who encouraged our youth with a talk on mental health and pursuing your purpose.

She also prepared and served a hearty warm meal to the kids.

It's truly encouraging to have young people come and encourage young people. Zay is a grade 6 learner at one of our local primary schools and her confidence, heart for serving and motto in life is truly admirable.

We truly are grateful that she came to be a blessing to our youth and teach them to show up confidently and intentionally.
