This Mandela Day, make every step count by joining Ntinga Ntaka on the beautiful Merrifield Trail as we walk together to raise funds for education and community development.

⏰ Time: 09:00 – 12:00 (Registration from 08:30)
📍 Venue: Merrifield Trail

There is no set entry fee, and any monetary donation is welcome. Every contribution, no matter the size, will directly support Ntinga Ntaka's educational support programmes in partnership with Sakhikamva Senior Secondary School and Floradale Primary School in Nompumelelo.

Your donation helps us continue empowering learners through academic support, literacy initiatives, mentorship, and opportunities that create brighter futures.

Child Protection Month reminds us that every child deserves to feel safe, heard, loved, and protected.

Behind every smile can be a child carrying fear, hurt, or silence. It is our responsibility as adults, families, schools, and communities to notice, listen, and act.

Children do not always have the words to explain abuse, neglect, or trauma — sometimes their behaviour, drawings, fears, or silence tell the story instead.

Let us create spaces where children feel safe enough to speak, safe enough to cry, and safe enough to simply be children.

Protecting children is not a once-off conversation. It is a daily commitment.

Today marked the final session of Term 2 for our first cohort of the Read to Rise programme for 2026. 📚✨

What an incredible journey it has been! Over the past weeks, our learners have shown growth, courage, commitment, and a love for learning that continues to inspire us every day. From reading together to building confidence and supporting one another, this cohort has truly set the foundation for something meaningful and impactful. 💚

We are proud of every learner, tutor, and volunteer who made this journey possible. Thank you for your dedication, energy, and belief in the power of education and community.

This may be the end of Term 2, but it is only the beginning of greater things to come for Read to Rise. 🌱

Our Grade 7 Marimba Band has returned with a silver award, and we couldn’t be prouder! 🥈

Their performance was truly amazing, filled with vibrant energy, passion, and teamwork. Every beat reflected their dedication and love for music, and they gave it their all on stage.
