Our Worklink team hosted an epic sustainability training session at Lovedale TVET College, where social workers leveled up their facilitation skills to keep the movement alive! ⚡🌱

We spotted a gap in group facilitation and stepped in to equip Lovedale's social workers with the exact skills needed to lead with confidence 🔥

This hands-on session ensures the college can run these programs on their own so our sustainability mission keeps thriving 🚀🔁

These amazing social workers are now fully plugged in and ready to lead the way and drive real, lasting change in the community 💚✨

Together, we are making sure our youth programs continue to grow, empower, and inspire! 🙌🔥

Stay Protected: Always use protection! Prevent STIs and unexpected babies when you're already trying to stretch that allowance. 🛑👶

Our psychosocial support team attended a GBV workshop at Buffalo City TVET College ! 🧠⚡

Our BCC trainers freshly trained by our amazing PSS team stepped up to lead an unforgettable workshop for BCC students! They brought the heat, leveling up their facilitation skills while plugging students into vital info on GBV!

Here’s a breakdown of what went down:

🧬 S*x vs. Gender: Unpacking how s*x is biological, while gender is social and heavily shaped by what society normalizes.

🤝 Consent is Everything: The importance of continuous, clear consent in s*xual activities.

💰 Financial Abuse: We tackled the hot take "Indoda Must" breaking down how financial pressure and dependency can become a form of abuse.

We ended with a powerful activity where students listed daily safety precautions for males vs. females to avoid s*xual violence:

Males: Say NO 🛑 | Walk away 🚶‍♂️

Females: Watch alcohol intake 🍹 | Sharing live location Mntase when going out!
