More Hometown Heroes to Celebrate 🙌🏼🙏🏽👏🏼

Piet Jonas along with a small crew of Kidds Beach locals and BCM have been cleaning beaches at Kidds Beach and Palm Springs. Piet collected some Tidy Towns bags last week and sent us this video this morning. His brother Johan Jonas has been cleaning the beaches along Oceanway in Gonubie too.

Thank you to all involved for caring for our beautiful beaches and ocean creatures. Your efforts are appreciated and serve as inspiration to us all to look after our coastline and communities 💙

Together We Can Do So Much More — Join Tidy Towns Buffalo City! 🌊

Imagine clean beaches, well-kept public spaces, and roadsides we can all be proud of. That’s the vision behind Tidy Towns Buffalo City — a community-driven initiative working with BCM and the Border-Kei Chamber of Business to keep our city clean, safe and beautiful.

From Nahoon to Gonubie, Bonza Bay to Quigney, our team is on the ground every day — cleaning beaches, maintaining public spaces, and caring for the areas we all share.

💼 Local businesses make this possible. By becoming an Official Supporter, you help fund equipment, staff, waste removal and ongoing community projects — and in return, your business gets recognised on our Supporter boards and social media platforms.

We may have been quiet on social media, but behind the scenes we’ve been hard at work.

From daily beach and car park clean-ups, to collaborating with BCM to repair and maintain beach ablutions and infrastructure at Nahoon, Reef, Bonza Bay and Gonubie and working with Quigney’s rate payers association to improve safety along the Esplanade, we’ve been committed to keeping our coastline and community clean, safe, and welcoming.

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our local sponsors and community partners. We are deeply grateful for every contribution that helps us create employment opportunities and care for the town we all love.

If you or your business would like to join us in making a tangible difference, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to [email protected] OR [email protected]

Only together can we keep our beautiful town tidy.
