Cintsa Horses Rescue and Rehab Centre We provide stunning beach trails in the Eastern Cape Cintsa area to fund our rescue and rehab of horses in desperate need of care and love.

We are an international destination for mature and gap year students who want to volunteer and enjoy adventure sports. The beach trails were our only form of income until 4 years ago when a volunteer project was set up. We are a service provider for Buccaneers Backpackers also an international destination for tourism. We have no government funding or sponsorship so the centre is kept going by the

trails and volunteers who pay to join us, their financial support covers their board and food and anything left over goes into the 'kitty' for the horses. This helps with the cost of rescueing and very often the purchase of the rescued horses,their medication, work by the farrier and dentist, veterenary cost and all the other expenses that come with caring for horses and other animals.

Reach for a Dream.
Penny and Georgie Dickerson Rosamin Douma a volunteer and Kiki Jansen a long time friend and family from the Netherlands joined the Reach for a Dream Team to make this a very special day for Ophalo Gaqa a 10 year old boy who is terminally ill.
He dreamt of riding a horse on the beach and having his own laptop between all of us we did just that.
Ophalo tires very quickly but managed to ride Flicka a kind pony from Cintsa Horses Beach and Bush Trails down to Cintsa lagoon to meet the Dream Team who presented him with his very own laptop. Check his face and that special smile that we all contributed to!

New Year's Eve The last day of 2025 hoping you all have a great evening, enjoy and be happy.
Tomorrow is another day month and year when we all say Hello to 2026, Happy New Year to all our friends, family and volunteers, let's hope 2026 is kind to all of us.
