Hope Schools – please consider

As this part of the Centre's journey has come to a close, our legacy lives on in Hope Schools. Please consider transferring your donation to them. The school was started for the children who were cared for while their parents came into the centre for HIV treatment.

Hope Schools is a registered PBO and will happily issue a tax certificate for your monthly donation.

A place of hope, support, and opportunity

It has been an incredibly difficult decision, especially considering the dedication, passion, and hard work that have gone into building this organisation over the past two decades.

Sophumelela Centre has been a place of hope, support, and opportunity for so many families, and we are deeply grateful for every life we have touched.

Our heartfelt gratitude to every staff member, volunteer, partner, donor, and beneficiary who has been part of our journey. Your commitment and trust made our work possible.

The strength of our organisation came from the people who believed in our mission, and we remain humbled by the support we have received over the years.

Sophumelela Centre will live on, although our doors will close, the impact of our work will continue to live on through the individuals and families whose lives were changed.

We take pride in knowing that the seeds planted over the years continue to grow beyond the organisation's lifespan.

As this chapter closes, we are hopeful that the spirit of community upliftment and compassion that the Sophumelela Centre embodied continues in new ways.

Thank you for your partnership
Thank you for being part of this remarkable journey.
We will always cherish the memories, the milestones, and the shared commitment to making a difference.

Wow!

We are completely overwhelmed by the support and love we received by The Father's Heart Church NYC.

From community visits, praying with and getting involved in families we serve and creating a platform to speak life in the lives of our youth.

Thank you for stopping and noticing us!
