Good morning Sunrise family. Trusting that we all had a good rest over the holidays and are settling in well for the year.
This message aims to make mention of;
•Sunrise Thursdays
•Recruitment phase (3 Rs viz. Recruit, Retain, Realease) of which we are currently on the first R.
•Affiliation forms
*1. Sunrise Thursdays*
As today is a Thursday, we have not let go of the organisation’s culture to celebrate and promote Sunrise across social media platforms. With that being said, starting from today onward every Thursday is a reason to remember and appreciate the organisation. This also helps in broadening its reach and visibility in the community. As a member, you are more than welcome to update statuses or make posts on any platform. Happy Sunrise Thursday🩵💛🤍
*2. Recruitment phase*
During this time of the year, it is very convenient to tend to one of the 3 Rs, it being Recruit. As of from next week Wednesday the 26th to the 14th of March we will start a res-to-res initiative as a quest to educate students about what Sunrise is all about, as a motivation to recruit new members for an effective year ahead. Details about venue and time will follow on due course. Those who want to be added to the WhatsApp group can kindly inbox their names and cell numbers
Again on Sunrise Thursdays, starting next week as well, we will have a stall at campus. Members are invited to avail themselves for a better impact and to assist in new members signing affiliation forms. Lastly, for our recruitment we will continue to advertise the Sunrise UFH EL branch on relevant social media platforms.
*3. Affiliation forms*
All members are kindly urged to fill and sign the organisation’s affiliation forms to be recognised as legit members. This assists the BEC in recording the number of members for future events and provisions like T-shirts for the organisation. The forms will be printed out and can be collected and submitted to BEC member @~Mzukhona Gumbi. Following the form is an affiliation fee amounting to R20 each member. The deadline for the affiliation fees will be the 14th of March. The bank details are as follows;
