Zwelonke Ecumenical Women's Organisation Eastern Cape convened its first provincial conference from Friday 20-22 October 2023 at Carnegie hall, Gonubie East London. Mothers came in numbers from various districts of the Eastern Cape as well as from Gauteng & KZN. The Conference theme "Ordinary Women doing Extraordinary Work" which is based on Judges 5:7. The first day 20th October was spiritually fulfilling and the program was directed by Masisi Mavela. Later in the day, we were graced by the presence of the recently appointed Public Protector Adv. Kholeka Gcaleka who dwell much on the Conference theme and the role of Deborah. The SACC EC President Canon L. Ntshingwa with various Church ministers have attended.
