People say we spoil our cats. Maybe we do.

But after everything they've been through to trust us, to curl up in our laps, to sleep peacefully in our arms, loving them a little extra never feels like too much.

They don't count how many treats they get. They don't care how expensive their bed is. What they remember is who made them feel safe.

So if that means extra cuddles, extra blankets, extra kisses, and a life filled with love, I'm perfectly okay with being guilty of spoiling my cat. ❤️🐾

Because no cat should ever have to wonder if they're cherished.

A small cat began appearing at the same bus stop every morning.

Rain or wind, cold or gray skies, none of it changed her routine.

At exactly 7:15 a.m., she would come out from the bushes and sit beside the bench.

At first, people assumed she belonged to someone nearby. No one paid much attention.

But she kept returning.

Every day.

Same time.

Same place.

Eventually, a regular commuter became curious and asked around.

That was when he learned the story.

Months earlier, an elderly woman had taken that bus every morning. Before boarding, she always stopped at the bench where the cat waited. She carried small treats, sat with her for a few minutes, and spoke softly before leaving.

It became a daily routine for both of them.

Then one day, the woman stopped coming.

But the cat kept waiting.

No one knows exactly how animals understand absence, but the cat continued to arrive every morning at the same time. She sat by the bench, watched every bus, and observed every passenger, as if expecting the familiar person to return.

Over time, commuters began to notice her presence. Some brought food, others left water or a small blanket nearby. The cat accepted what was offered, but always returned to the bench afterward.

One winter morning, a teacher arrived earlier than usual and found the cat already there, curled tightly against the cold.

She sat down beside her. After a while, the cat climbed into her lap and fell asleep.

The next morning, the teacher returned. The cat was waiting. The same thing happened the following days, and a quiet routine formed between them.

Months later, the teacher brought a carrier. The cat entered it without hesitation, as if she had already made her decision.

Today, the cat—now named Luna—lives indoors in a warm home. She spends her days resting in sunny spots and sleeping at the end of the bed.

She still wakes early and sometimes sits near the door around the same time she used to go to the bus stop, before settling back inside.

Some routines fade, but others remain.

And while she no longer waits alone, she still carries the memory of the one who first made her feel seen.
