🐾 A New Charity We’re Proud to Support

We are delighted to welcome Furever Friends Foundation to our list of NGOs supported by Graanendal — and this one is extra special. ❤️

Based in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town, Furever Friends supports animals through rescue, veterinary care, sterilisation, feeding and rehoming, but their vision goes further. Their new Animal Empathy & Kindness Programme focuses on educating children about kindness, empathy, responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.

We are particularly excited to support their work with children in farming communities, helping them learn to care for and understand animals in a fun and meaningful way.

Small hearts… big change! 🐾💚

The Estate Office has just had a call from the lady at CAAA (Capetonians Against Animal Abuse) and would like me to thank all the residents for the unexpected and really needed contribution. They have so many cats that need to be "fixed" and your donation will help go towards this.
Thanks you residents.

Good day Residents of Graanendal
I trust that you are well.
On behalf of the whole Won Life team, I want to intentionally take the opportunity to convey our sincerest thanks and deepest gratitude for your extremely generous donation we have received from the Graanendal Lifestyle Estate on 6 August 2026. Please know that we greatly appreciate the ongoing support as you effectively invest into our education based programmes… and thereby empowering us to continue changing young lives through education.
To get a sense of the impact you are helping us create over the years : Please find below a Google Drive link to a video clip we have created that tells the story of three of our current grade 12 learners (in grade 11 last year when this video was originally shot in November’25) that have had the exposure and benefit of all four of our education based programmes. They are effectively a sample of the difference we are able to make for the learners in our care. I would recommend taking a good cup of coffee and enjoy the 15 minutes that this heartwarming story provides.

Greatly appreciate if you please would share this communication with the relevant members from the Graanendal Lifestyle Estate.
Once again, thank you and wishing you all of the very best

Dear Residents,
We kindly ask you to consider making a donation to Huis Ravenzicht in Kraaifontein, one of the charities we proudly support.
Home to more than 120 senior citizens, Huis Ravenzicht provides more than just meals and care—it offers safety, dignity, companionship, and a place to call home. As the cost of caring for South Africa's elderly continues to rise, homes like Huis Ravenzicht rely on the generosity of compassionate people to help provide the care their residents deserve.
No gift is too small. Every donation helps ensure that some of our most vulnerable elderly residents are cared for with the love, respect, and dignity they deserve.
As a registered NPO, Huis Ravenzicht can issue an Article 18A tax certificate for qualifying donations.
Thank you for opening your heart to this worthy cause. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those who have given so much and now need our care the most.
Any donation can be dropped off at the Estate Office and we will ensure it gets to Huis Ravenzicht in time for their special event on 5 September

Please support one of our dearest charities this winter. The Hot Spot Library does amazing work in the community and they need our help.
