Please find attached a sponsorship request and programme proposal for our upcoming Awake & Empowered: Youth Day Overnight Experience, taking place on 15–16 June 2026.
This overnight Youth Day initiative will host 30 young people from the Wentworth community and focuses on leadership development, mentorship, emotional wellbeing, personal growth and youth empowerment.

🔥 ARI YOUTH DAY BONFIRE APPEAL 🔥

Our community youth leader, has dedicated countless hours to serving, mentoring, and protecting the young people of our community through ||ARI YOUTH CAFÉ and the Dream Centre.

This Youth Day, he has planned a special overnight Bonfire Experience for 30 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, taking place from 6:30 PM on 15 June to 6:30 AM on 16 June.

This event will provide a safe space where our youth can connect, share their challenges, build positive relationships, and be reminded that they are valued, loved, and supported. Through guided discussions, activities, and mentorship, they will have the opportunity to openly express themselves and receive encouragement for the challenges they face in their daily lives.

We are appealing to individuals, businesses, and community members to assist with any of the following:

🍖 Dinner
• Braai meat
• Salads
• Rolls

🍿 Snacks
• Chips
• Popcorn
• Sweet treats
• Fruit

🥤 Drinks
• Cooldrinks and juices

🔥 Event Materials
• Charcoal
• Firewood for the bonfire

🛏️ Comfort Items
• Blankets/throws (approximately R130 each at Pep)

No donation is too small. Every contribution will help create a meaningful and memorable Youth Day experience for these young people.

Winter has really hit Durban, we have a seniors club with 60 seniors and they have requested.if I am getting blankets this year to keep them in mind. I would like to bless them, anyone doing distributions this year please contact me or of you know of a place with reasonable blankets we can do a drive and purchase some.

Cause I am accustomed to serving i spend some of my week at the dream centre and help others by posting on my wall as we are an organization that is respected and trusted for many years. Please dont spread false rumors. I can be found at Silvertree Road hall if um not there due to my health speak to Olivia Stuart-Jones
