EThekwini District Aids Council had it Q3 report (October to December 2025)
One of the key things we saw during this reporting period
44% increase of MSM who tested reactive
6420 Men missing on treatment
Children 0 - 6 missing from health
Teens found engaging on commercial s*xwork
Among other other challenges that CSF needs to look at.
Our report was also informed by the PLHIV sector, women sector, youth sector, LGBT, NGO, Higher education, research, s*x work, THP and Pwud sub sector

Department of health in eThekwini invited the CSF and sector leaders to create a plan around how to improve vaccination knowledge
As we know we now have Lenacapavir
For now it is being provided in Lancers Road Clinic, and pop in clinic hence as eThekwini we have 59 municipal clinic that one can visit and check availability there
The mission is still to end New HIV infections by 2030

Key things you need to understand when applying
All sectors that a prioritised will be double check if they really belong to that sector so for those who don't affiliate please ensure you affiliate your organisation with the correct sector
The sector funding call is going to be out on the 21 of May 2026 and close on the 30 of June

The number one killer is still TB and the reach is still men.TB is a treatable condition and vision 2034 can be reached....

TB is a treatable condition and vision 2034 can be reached. To ensure we reach it we are calling out all the organisation that are working in eThekwini to affiliate them selves with sector so we can all work together
