Khanyisa Developmental Centre We are based in Durban North, KZN and Berea, East London ✨ Khanyisa offers its program from 8am to 12:00/12:30/13:00pm, five days per week.

Khanyisa Developmental Centre is an integrated centre offering daily education and therapeutic intervention for children from birth to 20 years with any kind of special needs. Khanyisa Centre was established as an integrated Developmental Centre for children with disabilities in Durban, KZN, with the vision to meet the needs of families who have children with any kind of special needs from birth through to 18 years. Khanyisa provides an adapted and individualized education and development program for each child, shadowing a model of integration of all children with special needs. Khanyisa Centre opened its doors on the 21st January 2013 in Umhlanga Rocks, to 8 children and now, in 2022, Khanyisa serves over 50 incredible students everyday. "Uncovering Potential Everyday"

Today, we celebrate the legends behind the school drop-offs, the pep talks, the problem-solving, and, of course, the endless supply of dad jokes.

We honour each and every one of you for the superheroes you are and for the unwavering love, support, guidance, patience, and provision you pour into your children every single day. Your role may not always be easy, but the impact you make is immeasurable.

KHANYISA DURBAN NORTH IS HIRING! ✨

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Educator to join our Khanyisa team.

This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, or qualified Teacher with at least 5 years of experience working in the area of special needs.

The Senior Educator will be responsible for supporting the learning and developmental journey of children with diverse needs, including the implementation and tracking of educational and therapeutic goals. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, organised, collaborative, and confident in working as part of a transdisciplinary team.

If your values are excellence, truth telling, hope spreading, celebration, and service, then we would LOVE to hear from you! 🤩
