Adrienne graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Social Work and brings eight years of experience in the child protection and social development space. Her journey has included work in adoption services, caregiver support programmes, training facilitation, project management, and monitoring & evaluation. She is deeply passionate about supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments, and about turning data into meaningful insights that create lasting impact.

This year's finals were extra special as we partnered with Takalani Sesame to celebrate the power of play and positive fatherhood. Through the BaBonise campaign, we're encouraging fathers and father figures to show up, play, and be present in the lives of young children.

❤️𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 is such an important part of how young children learn about the world around them. That’s why we are excited to be rolling out these new play mats to ECD centres as part of our 𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 programme.
_
These colourful and interactive mats create opportunities for movement, conversation, learning and connection, all things that support healthy childhood development. Through our 𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 programme, we continue encouraging caregivers, parents and ECD practitioners to nurture children through nutrition, love, play and communication.

A special shoutout to our 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 for driving this project from concept to implementation and helping create playful learning spaces for young children in our communities. This would have not been possible without our funding partner, Rama South Africa👏.
