Happy Youth Day South Africa!

At CROW, we believe education is the key to conservation. That is why we take our work beyond rescue and rehabilitation, into classrooms across KwaZulu-Natal.
From sharing real rescue stories to teaching about ecosystems, animal adaptations and caring for our natural world, we aim to inspire the next generation of conservation champions.

Because when young minds understand nature, they grow up to protect it.

Happy Youth Day to all the future protectors of our wildlife.

Walk in the Wild 2026 is coming!

Get ready, our much-loved Walk in the Wild event will take place on Sunday, 30 August 2026 and we are already buzzing with excitement!

This year, we are looking for a special kind of partner to help make the day extra memorable…

We are looking for companies to sponsor our GOODIE BAGS!
We require 850 items (yes, 850!) and this could be anything from products, vouchers, treats, or even the goodie bag itself.

The best part?
Your brand will be front and centre, featured on the item and seen by every single participant on the day!

It’s a fantastic opportunity to:
- Support wildlife conservation
- Connect with an engaged, outdoor-loving community
- Showcase your brand in a meaningful, feel-good way

We also offer benefits to all sponsors, making this a mutually rewarding partnership.

If your company would like to be part of this exciting event (and help us make 850 walkers VERY happy!), we would love to chat!

Get in touch with us to partner on Walk in the Wild 2026:
[email protected]

Let's make this one our most memorable walk yet!💚

From rescue to release.

Today, these Egyptian Geese spread their wings and returned to the wild where they belong.

Every successful release is a reminder that together, we can make a difference for wildlife.

Seven months ago, this Black Sparrowhawk arrived at CROW after being found trapped in a factory and covered in glue. Unable to fly and fighting for survival, he faced a long road to recovery.

Through months of dedicated care, rehabilitation and patience, he gradually regained his strength, confidence and ability to soar once again.

Today, we are celebrating his incredible journey from rescue to release: A reminder of the difference that compassion and conservation can make for our wildlife.

A special thank you to Neil Siddall for your generous sponsorship and being part of this Black Sparrowhawks journey back to the wild.
