Umsenge Summary:
Happi Feet is our first project, we want to give out shoes, socks, jerseys and toiletries to primary school kids and grade 8&9 (includes sanitary towels). Kelema Computer Literacy project is a initiative to provide free computer literacy training to the youth of KwaNdengezi and surrounding areas. We also want to have a proper ICDL tesing center, so that when our students finish t
he course they can take an international exam and get an International Computer Driver License. Njengosheleni is a project to buy and operate if not one then several Mobile clinics. We want to have our mobile clinic carrying equipment such as X-Ray macine and Ultrasound machine. In conjunction with the Wellness program we will be concentrating on early diagnosis and teaching about chronic diseases (HIV AIDS, Cancer, TB)
We also have an upcoming project that will deal with providing pro-bono general Legal advice. Another project will be dealing with youth Mentorship/Team building. We actually want to be a township-based outlet for SEDA and other Gvt agencies lending assistance to Youth but hard to reach.
