🌸 Support Peyton’s Smile 🌸

Every child deserves the chance to smile with confidence. Peyton has been diagnosed with hypodontia, a rare condition where some permanent teeth simply don’t develop. This can cause difficulties with chewing, speaking, and confidence, and often requires years of specialised dental and orthodontic care.

Through her BackaBuddy campaign – Peyton’s Smile – we can help ensure she gets the treatment she needs to eat, speak, and smile without pain or insecurity.

💖 No contribution is too small – every rand helps cover vital dental care, surgeries, and ongoing treatment.

🙏 Please consider donating and sharing Peyton’s story. Together, we can give her the healthy, happy smile she deserves.

Hi family and friends...it's been a while and just wanted to update you on Pey. On Tuesday this week Pey had her 5th appointment for the year already. Previous appointments were in and out of the chair but this last one was rather difficult. Doc had to remove and replace the top wire, which had plastic blockers with a firmer and much tighter material which will be in place for 6 weeks. Sitting in the room watching all this gives me such anxiety...yet she handled it like a champ as always. Her doctor is amazing and happy with the progress she is making and commented on just how brave she is🥹. The next few months will be days of tightening and adjustments moving us closer to the final decision. I ask that you continue to keep her in prayer. Lots of love, Mands.

Hi everyone. We hope you are doing well and had a great Christmas. Now that we are back into our routine in 2025, we would like to share a brief update on Pey's orthodontist visit, which followed her procedure in December. As expected, her orthodontist was meticulous, showing us the progress made in closing the spaces and explaining how things have improved from where they were initially. We thank God for his hands over this process. To achieve better alignment, her orthodontist installed two springs on either side of her two permanent front teeth. Pey has experienced some discomfort but not much pain. We will be visiting the orthodontist again on February 10th. Although planning ahead is difficult due to uncertainties, we are hopeful that everything will go as planned. Thank you for reading this update. We ask that you please continue to share Pey's story and support in any way. Lots of love 💙🙏🌻 Amanda Oliver

Thank you for taking the time to like this page, have a look at it, or consider it at all!

Peyton is the most incredible young lady with an absolute zest for life. Unfortunately, Peyton was recently diagnosed with hypodontia - a rare medical disorder which has resulted in her missing a significant number of permanent teeth that ought to grow once her milk teeth fall out. Peyton has already begun her dental process, but the costs are insane and not covered by medical aid.

For my birthday this year, the 28th of December, I would like to appeal to each of you to please donate any amount to Peyton's back-a-buddy page in order for us to raise enough funds for her surgery in the near future. I have 492 Facebook friends who I have invited to this page, so I imagine it would make an exceptional difference if each person were to like and share this page. Any contribution counts and would be greatly appreciated!

Please click the link in our bio for the link to Peyton's back-a-buddy page.

Thank you so much!
