Umduduzi - Hospice Care for Children NPO 119 278 We work at all the state hospitals in eThekwini and provide teaching and training in palliative care to professionals in KZN. .

We bring compassion, dignity, relevant care and relief from discomfort and pain to children diagnosed with a life threatening or life limiting illness within KZN. We are a fully donor funded, small team providing high quality hospital based palliative care to the children with life limiting and life threatening illnesses in KZN. We also run 2 play and early childhood development programs at King D

inuzulu MDR TB unit and Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital

A 'rainbow baby' is the baby born after pregnancy loss. The baby can never replace the baby that died, but is a symbol of new life and hope. We never forget those that were life. The dreams and hopes, lost.

We honour every life. The tradition is not to tell people of a pregnancy until after 3 months when a positive outcome is more likely. But why? Surely this is a joy and a grief we should be able to share?
