It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Pastor Rishi Singh.

Pastor Rishi Singh was not only a devoted servant of God, but a pillar of strength, compassion, and hope within the Bayview community. His unwavering commitment to uplifting others, especially through the annual children’s Christmas party, brought joy, love, and dignity to the lives of hundreds of children over the years. His impact reached far beyond the moment—he planted seeds of hope and kindness that will continue to grow for generations.

We are truly saddened by the loss of a legend, a humble servant, and a man who lived his faith through action. His legacy of service, generosity, and love for humanity will forever remain etched in our hearts.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant strength and comfort to his family, loved ones, the Church Christ Celebration and all whose lives he so deeply touched.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

Congratulations to our founder Brandon Pillay on another prestigious award. Last night he was awarded with the “Community Empowerment Advocacy Award 2025” Excellence in GBV at the DSK Group GBV Gala Dinner.
His work within marginalised communities and vulnerable groups does not go unnoticed. He was recognised in particular for his work around Gender Based Violence (GBV) having set up one of the very first “White Doors” in Bayview, to the “Knock on the Door Campaign” and the opening of the Bayview Ubuntu Community Centre a community centre that gives hope to the community and a safe space for survivors. The next phase of the BUCC will see the establishment of a women’s shelter
