Do we have an interesting talk for you tomorrow night at 7pm SA time. Zain Aboobaker will tell us about his book, the Customs Man!

"The story follows a dedicated customs official caught in a moral vise. As he tries to crack down on massive smuggling rings, he uncovers deep-seated corruption within the system. He faces a dangerous choice: uphold his oath and risk everything, or protect his family and compromise his integrity" News 24

🌍💙 Community Economic Development Month

Creating opportunities. Strengthening communities. Changing lives.

Community Economic Development is about empowering people with the skills, resources and opportunities they need to build sustainable livelihoods and stronger communities.

During Community Economic Development Month, Rotary Clubs throughout District 9370 celebrate initiatives that help communities thrive through:

🔹 Skills Development – Building knowledge and practical skills for brighter futures.
🔹 Entrepreneurship – Supporting small businesses and local enterprise.
🔹 Employment – Creating pathways to meaningful economic opportunities.
🔹 Sustainable Communities – Empowering people to become catalysts for positive change.

When people have the opportunity to learn, work, create and grow, entire communities can prosper. 🤝🌱

Let us continue to create opportunities, support local enterprise and invest in people, because stronger economies begin with empowered communities.

Rotarian Vanessa has been extremely busy making resources for children in Primary Schools Foundation phase to improve their learning outcomes. The resources have been implemented at Isipingo Beach Primary School under her guidance and mentoring. This will just give children the extra boost they need as they enter the 4th term. Wishing all learners and their parents a wonderful fourth term as school resumes next week!
