SADTUSC UNISA Durban Branch calls on all eligible students and community members to register or update their voter registration details during the Final Voter Registration Weekend.

How to Register Online (IEC South Africa)

1. Visit the official online registration portal:
IEC Online Voter Registration Portal⁠
2. Click “Register to Vote” or sign in if you already have an account.
3. Enter your South African ID details and verify your identity using the One-Time Pin (OTP).
4. Upload a photo or scan of your South African ID (Smart ID, Green ID Book, or valid Temporary ID).
5. Enter or confirm your residential address (you can use your device’s location if prompted).
6. Submit your application.
7. You will receive confirmation once your registration or update has been processed.

Requirements:

* 🇿🇦 Be a South African citizen.
* 🪪 Have a valid South African ID (Smart ID, Green ID Book, or Temporary ID).
* 👤 Be 16 years or older to register (you must be 18 or older to vote).
