ovative tool and guidance programme theorized and founded by Gugu Kheswa. Assist Learners in choosing the right subjects as early as Grade 9, thereby positioning them in a favourable direction to pursue studies post-matric or completing their education through FET’s.

Career and personality assessment is the answer to guiding Learner’s down the correct path, but it remains a relatively costly process which is not broadly accessible, especially for your disadvantage communities. Through the roll-out and implementation of the Career Guidance Workbook “Discover Your Career: A Ride in the Right Direction” (authored by Dr Lanette Hattingh & Debbie de Jong), Shaping the Future has discovered a new and more affordable and effective way of assessing Learner’s personalities, thinking styles and interest profiles which will empower them to make sound subject package and career choices down the line. This guide will provide the Learner with information on the world of work and introduce them to 1031+ careers they can pursue, opening many windows of opportunity. This will help reduce the high rate of unemployment which remains the abyss from which substance and drug abuse, su***de, crime and the likes are born.
