🧠 Your Mental Health Matters

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. If you're a creative, this conversation is for you.

As musicians and creatives, we rely on our minds to write, compose, perform, and innovate. When our mental well-being declines, our creativity, productivity, and overall quality of life can suffer. Taking time to reset, heal, and grow is not a luxury—it is essential.

Join KUMISA , in partnership with DCMH, for an insightful Mental Health Dialogue where we will discuss the importance of mental wellness in the creative industry and explore practical ways to maintain a healthy mind.

📅 Date: 30 July 2026
📍 Venue: DCMH Offices, 3 Hatton Avenue, Sherwood, Durban 4091

Seats are limited, so please RSVP using the contact details provided on the event poster to secure your place.

Together, let's break the stigma and build a healthier, stronger creative community.

Recap: Creative Society and Harmony Alignment (CSHA) Foundation

KUMISA was honoured to speak at the uMlazi Music Industry Capacity Building Workshop 2026, organised by the CSHA Foundation in partnership with CAPASSO.

During the workshop, KUMISA shared insights into the Music Business and its critical role in the creative economy. The session emphasised the importance of understanding intellectual property (IP) and copyright, empowering creatives to protect their work, claim their rights, build sustainable careers, and own their intellectual property.

The enthusiastic participation and meaningful discussions reinforced the need for more educational initiatives like this. Together, we continue to advocate for knowledge, ownership, and growth across the creative industry.

The engagement and the discussion was a true reflection that creatives do need more of such education engagements. Together we continue to advocate for knowledge, ownership and growth in the creative industry.
