Today at Malibongwe Senior Citizens Centre, it was happening. We shared more than just a cup of juice, we shared a moment of heritage, respect, and pure joy.

Our gogos reminded us of the olden days when you asked for something, you bent your knees, held out both hands, and received with gratitude.

When she bent down, laughing, showing us how it was done, there was suddenly a feeling of peace, the whole room felt like home again.

Malibongwe always brings it back.
